The Mantra 88 delivers a versatile medium waist-width platform built for confident performance both on and off piste, combining powerful turns with adaptability across all snow conditions. Engineered with Völkl’s advanced technologies, it offers a dynamic, responsive feel with excellent pop and accessibility. Tailored Carbon Tips enhance agility and precision, while the 3D Radius Sidecut supports a range of turn shapes for greater versatility. A shorter underfoot radius improves turn variation, resulting in efficient power transfer, strong edge grip, and a sporty, controlled ride on groomers and in more demanding terrain.

Features: 

• Multilayer Woodcore: The side wall is laminated to extremely stable layers of wood on the sides of the sandwich core. In combination with a more flexible, lighter wood built into the center of the sandwich core construction. The combination of both wood types running through the entire ski length contributes to an optimal distribution of the ski stiffness increasing the steering precision.
• Tailored Carbon Tip: Produced by embroidering the individual carbon fibers onto a carrier material. This allows them to be positioned exactly along the stress lines, opening up completely new possibilities, for performance at the front of the ski, which has a decisive influence on the handling of the ski. The stiffness, torsion and thus the skiing characteristics can be specifically adjusted via the fiber thickness and millimeter-precise alignment.
• Tailored Titanal Frame: Steel Bands are positioned above the sidewall along the tip and tail area of the ski to provide the desired damping and torsional stiffness. The Tailored Titanal Frame technology provides an incomparable combination of agility and high speed control.
• 3D Radius Sidecut - Three radii in one ski for maximum Turning & Speed Versatility in all mountain skiing long tip & tail radius. 
• Full sidewall ABS: ABS is a durable and resilient plastic known for its strength and impact resistance. It offers high resistance to shocks and impacts, making the ski more robust and long-lasting. These sidewalls allow for precise power transfer from the skier to the edges of the ski.
• Base P-Tex 2100: A sintered high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability.
