  • Ski/Snowboard Sales - We are seeking individuals passionate about snow sports and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates will have prior retail experience or a genuine interest in developing their knowledge. Training will be provided to ensure you excel in assisting customers with selecting the right gear for their winter adventures.
  • Boot Fitters - We are looking for experienced professionals with a background in ski and snowboard boot fitting.  With strong attention to detail and the ability to provide personalised fitting solutions. If you have experience or a keen interest in developing your skills further, we offer training to build and grow your expertise.
  • Workshop Technicians - We are seeking individuals with technical experience in ski and snowboard maintenance and repair. If you are a problem-solver with a passion for hands-on work and an eagerness to learn, we will train you on our advanced equipment and ensure you’re equipped to meet our high standards.
  • Customer Service/Retail Sales - We are seeking organised and confident professionals to assist customers with clothing and accessories. Previous retail experience is preferred, though a genuine passion for the snow and a dedication to delivering exceptional service are the most important qualities we seek.

WORKSHOP TRAINING COURSES

At Snowcentre, we believe that our knowledge and passion for snow sports are worth sharing. We offer a range of clinics and courses focusing on ski maintenance and professional technical ski services. These courses have a small trainee-to-trainer ratio, ensuring quality one-on-one tuition with our workshop technicians. You will learn from the best with our highly skilled trainers, utilising the latest technology and top-quality equipment.


Workshop Technician Courses

Hosted by our Qualified Workshop Technicians, this is an in-depth two-week course designed as an introduction to becoming a professional Ski and Snowboard Technician. This course provides practical knowledge of ski and board construction, including the use of ski tuning machinery, ski technology, and binding mechanics. Excludes race-specific tuning. There is only space for two people per 2-week course slot, so book in advance to reserve your spot. Dates for this course are below:

2025 Course Dates:

  • Course 1 - 13 - 24 October 
  • Course 2 - 31 October - 14 November 
  • Course 3 - 17 - 28 November 
  • Course 4 - 01 - 12 December 

Other dates in 2026 are available on request. 

Cost $1895 including GST.

Includes free parking and all consumables; health and safety equipment is provided.

Snowcentre Boot Fitting Course

Hosted by one of our internationally experienced boot fitters and NZ Skills Active Boot Fitting Assessors.

This course is designed to train candidates on the technical aspects of boot fitting and provide industry training for those wishing to pursue a career in snow sports retail.
