Saturday the16th of December 2009 saw our inaugural You Got Skills jam session at Snowplanet!
Fifty or so riders of all ages turned up, and the level of riding was ridiculously high...with tame-dogs, nollie front flips, crazy corked spins and of course the mandatory backy's being thrown down. The talent was so epic, we are having a hard time deciding who to pick for our new team, but some lucky up and comers will get chosen soon. So watch this space!
We did give away some awesome prizes courtesy of Burton & Snowplanet, and eventually it came down to the rider who was most consistent. Nick Martusheff scored himself a Burton Blunt as an early Birthday prezzie and our local grommie, George Hares was hooked up a semester of coaching with Snowplanet's own HPC!
Thanks to all you guys & gals who turned up, and massive props to the team at Snowplanet for all their efforts and support in making this event roll smoothly. Shot guys.
We hope to run events like these on a more regular basis, so pop into the store to let us know what you guys want to see more of.
